by the Traffic Superintendents of the Two Sections, shall be at
the same rate as the scale for the sectional slow train.
(9). Passengers and goog by Express Train may buy
tickets in any Station except those shall stations, from which
the Traffic Superintendents of both Sections agree that no passenger nor goods should be taken. This section does not apply to the carriage of persons and goods regarding which the Traffic
Superintendents of both sections may have at any time made other
arrangements by mutual consent.
(10). Passengers or goods by Sectional Slow Trains
must change train at the Junction Station in order to continue
the journey by the Slow Train of the other section. No 'thôrugh'
ticket shall be sold to such passenger or for such goods.
(11). The accounts of each section shall be made up
once a mànth, and a statement of account must be prepared showing
in detail the passenger and goods tickets in accordance with
the above sections of this agreement, and such accounts shall be
settled before the day of the following month.
(12). For the purpose of coupling and uncoupling coach-
-es, the engines of one section may run on to the track of the
other section at the Junction Station, but must not run beyond
the prescribed limits.
(13). Telegraphic messages on railway business shall be
sent ixx kick and received free of charge.
(14). Damage to carriages is to be made good by that
section in which the demage is done.
(15). The British section shall pay rent monthly for
the use of premises and of railway equipments it requires at the
Junction Station in the Chinese Section.
